Late Night Haiku IX

By Timothy R Butler | Posted at 6:05 AM

Regularly scheduled programming really should resume tomorrow.

XIII.
Frogs croak softly, softly.
Day has passed and night is here,
The day fades away.

XXIV.
Decisions to make,
Should not always wait fore're
But what should I do?

XXV.
Though the crickets chirp,
The silence is deafening,
And time rolls onward.

Re: Late Night Haiku IX
So will there be points to the person who cracks the secret code (2{.WUHOEYR EE VAOREL YIO U? X AEL}) at the bottom of this post, or did you just add it to drive us crazy?

Re: Late Night Haiku IX
Kevin: Interesting meal you've got going there. Sure, Flip; how about 20 points? :) But, the catch: you need to e-mail the answer to me rather than post it. It isn't a terribly complex code, but it is more of a note to myself to remind me of the context of the haikus above rather than something I initially planned as a challenge -- I'd rather make people work at it in the future if they want to know what it says. I do like to drive y'all crazy, though.

Re: Late Night Haiku IX
Had a hunch you do  I guess the code requires an American keyboard, though, so it might be difficult to crack from here  ...or?

Re: Late Night Haiku IX
Nah, it has nothing to do with the keyboard layout. :)
