Coffee: How Do I Love Thee?
By Timothy R Butler | Posted at 8:12 PM
My good friend Eduardo is presently on vacation, and invited several people, including myself, to guest blog on his site over the time period of January 14-February 1. So far, two of my other friends and fellow bloggers, Josiah and Ed, have posted some interesting posts that are most definitely worth checking out.
Today, I finally posted a piece over there, which I thought I would link to from here. It is a piece honoring everyone's favorite brown liquid — coffee. Take a look and join me in celebrating the world's most perfect form of caffeine.

A more fitting comment here is how amusing your layout looks in Opera. This text input box is wider than the white column space, and obscures about 1/3 of everything beneath your “blog for Bush” graphic. I admit Opera is less than perfect, but I don’t know of any browser that is.
Re: Coffee: How Do I Love Thee?
I posted a rather lengthy response including a bunch on the historically controversial nature of coffee in politics and even referenced a report from the UN, but managed to loose it, temporarily, to the spam checker (I assume).
And, your comment box here runs into the menu when you have short articles like this one with Firefox under WinXP, same as Ed mentioned. Perhaps different CSS measurements to that of the article?
Re: Coffee: How Do I Love Thee?
I noticed the problem went away when I switched to a narrower fixed font. So, Tim, is the box set to a specific number of characters width?
Re: Coffee: How Do I Love Thee?
No, it shouldn’t be. I’m using — to the best I was able to replicate it — the exact same code I was using before the Great Blog Crash of ‘04. I must investigate.
Josiah: I do not have spam protection, so I’m not sure where your comment went.
