Bad Day
Nothing serious… I'm sure in a few weeks it will seem trivial. But today, it seemed bad — its one of those aching, raw, in the pit of your stomach feelings that just moves in for awhile. Unusual for me — I'm usually the kind that bounces back from undesirable occurrences pretty quickly. But for now, I'll just have to deal with it without even being able to post on what led to it. sigh You know, it strikes me how important blogging has become to me — now I feel lost when I run into something important I can't “chew on” by writing a posting about.
Sorry to be depressing. It was a mostly good day, in actuality, just overridden by one disappointing event. I was going to go back on the blog-based campaign trail tonight, but I just don't feel up to it.
Oh, in happier news, GO CARDS! I was worried when it got into the twelfth inning tonight — we couldn't be defeated by those “nasty Texans.” I may not be a sports guy, but even I can't help but root for the home team.

And Go RedSox! I might not be a Boston guy, but I loved seeing them beat the Yankees, especially after being down 0-3 in the series!
I’m having one of those weeks, too. Stuff happening that I would really love to be able to discuss with someone, but can’t talk about.
RE: Bad Day
I will pray for both of you guys.
I am not a sports guy either but I do enjoy baseball and the Cardinals have always been my favorite team! I hope they win tonight.
RE: Bad Day
I’ll stand beside you on the feelings of intestinal tornadoes. I get them often enough to insure a good supply of gray in my beard. I’m guessing someone came after you with the proverbial knife and fork, or at least it seems likely.
RE: Bad Day
Christopher: Thanks, I appreciate the prayer. (Same here with the Cards.)
Ed: Thanks to you too. The one that was really painful was a bit more subtle than that this week. I got the other this week as well, but I think I was somewhat less sensitive to it by then, due to the first issue. I have no gray yet, but I am working on earning some, I think.
