QOTW #14: Olympics

Have you been watching the Olympics? Do you think it has been a good one? What is your favorite part?
The Olympics have been pretty good so far, I think. I'm always sad to see the gymnastics portion of it end — that's probably my favorite part of the Summer Games. I'm much more of a Winter Games person, myself, I guess. I'd comment more, but I really should call it a night. Maybe tomorrow…

I can answer this one real easy.
No I haven’t watched them.
I do track the medal count on my blog though.

TV — feh! I have seen only what displayed during the time I sat in a restaurant. The food is so good, I tolerate the big screen TV at my back. I gave up on thinking the Olympics were anything important long ago. I want to observe local talent.

Sporadic at best for things I don’t do but I’ve see a good deal of things I train for and have done in the past. Interests include Men’s and Women’s beach vball, cycling (Tyler Hamilton of MA WON GOLD in the TT!!! Wahooo, local boy makes good), swimming (amazing to see these guys doing the 100m butterfly in almost the time I can do a 50 free.) and of course the track events including the marathon.
On a personal note I miss seeing Edwin Moses. I used to do the 330 low hurdles in High School so he’s alway been a idol of mine.

Yes I have been watching them. The Olympics have been very good. My favorite would be the gymnastics.
