Pie on a Wictory Wednesday

For those of you who enjoy really good chocolate pie, let me recommend Aldi's French Silk pie, available through the end of the season in the Aldi freezer section. It's one of the best French Silk pies I've tasted anywhere — right on par with the Bourbon, Missouri Hen House's French Silk or maybe even better (note: this is different than the Hen House's chocolate pie, which is a meringue pie that is also good, but is usually sold out by the time I pass through town). Aldi also have good Banana Creme, strawberry, cookies and creme and coconut cream pies, although the latter three are in very limited quantities. I had a piece of French Silk pie just tonight — go get one and try it!

And after filling yourself up with pie, consider that we are nearing the November election and grass roots support will be key. Today is Wednesday, and this is the first Wednesday that asisaid will be participating in Blogs for Bush's Wictory Wednesday program. Essentially, I'm suppose to remind you to consider volunteering or donating to help get the president in for four more years. Interested? Follow those links. And then get another piece of pie for your hard work.
