Rain

By Timothy R Butler | Posted at 1:03 AM

Finally. There were some showers today that seemed to help greatly with the dry trees and grass. It was probably the first such rain of any size in almost a month. Woo hoo!

How's everyone else's weather this summer?

RE: Rain

Just the opposite. For the past two weeks we have been on the verge of flash floods, and have generally experienced mild flooding anyway. Yesterday was the first day without rain in quite some time. Further, my little part of the county was declared the worst hit by excessive rain in the region by the Nat’l Weather Service. Today I mow the church yard, the the stuff is nearly knee high….

RE: Rain

June was unseasonably dry and hot. Summer doesn’t really begin until July 5th. But just to keep us from feeling to left out, nature is providing us with a cold drizzly 4th of July weekend. We need the rain though, so I will be grateful while in my jacket when I’m outside celebrating this weekend.

RE: Rain

So far a bit colder and rainier than usual, but I won’t complain - as long as there’ll be sun in August :)
