Snow on Snow on Snow
By Timothy R Butler | Posted at 6:36 AM
Rossetti seems fitting tonight,
In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow,
In the bleak midwinter, long ago.
There is something contemplative about watching the snow fall. Tonight it is falling briskly.
