Hmm...
By Timothy R Butler | Posted at 8:15 PM
I can't say I've completely gotten my mind to grasp what this is suppose to do, but here's something intriguing at any rate. It's called a Blog Coop (Web Log Cooperative):
Blog Cooperatives are businesses jointly owned and operated by their members. BlogCoops are for-profit ventures that embrace emergent democracy as a means for governance and decision-making.
Here is the site if you want to read more about it. Thoughts?

RE: Hmm...
I think it’s rather silly. There is nothing new in what’s being said. It’s a cooperative team. So what? Cooperative teamwork with consensus decision making has been around for a long time. The only thing at all “unique” in this concept is merging it somehow with “blogs or blogging”. But, the author of the concept admittedly has no idea what that means or what his idea has to do with blogs except that he thinks blogs are cool.
While philosophical discussion of teamwork and teambuilding is fun, you don’t start with the model of government. You first start with values and goals. From the values and goals, you come up with the appropriate model. The coop is just one model.
