I’m always ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus. I’m not sure I care much for our modern cultural extravaganza that is associated with it. I prefer the social rituals from about a century ago, and some of Europe’s older traditions on it. In that sense, I’m not ever ready for Christmas.

I don’t think I understand the question. What do you mean by being ready for Christmas?

I’m with Ed, ready for Jesus, not for the mall jerks. See myself doing alot of phone and online ordering so I can spend more time with the family.

Ed: Well, I like a lot of the cultural baggage too — Christmas carols, trees, etc… but it doesn’t seem like its that time of year yet. Most years I’m anxious to pull out the Christmas lights and trim trees.

Kevin: Pretty much what I told Ed. The holiday, not the event of Jesus' birth. There's all the other stuff that goes along with the main event... that's the kind of stuff that seems to be sneaking up on me.
