Old Spaghetti Factory
Posted by Tim at 8:56:49

I tried the Old Spaghetti Factory for the first time last night. I was a bit concerned about it, since I'm not really one for spaghetti, but it turned out very good. I got the Breast of Chicken Fettuccine with a side of sausage -- both excellent choices! The nice thing about this restaurant is that the meal is a complete meal. For eight bucks, I got the chicken and pasta main course, a salad, bread, iced tea and a scoop of very good ice cream.

I had heard about the Factory location downtown, but that was a bit out of the way. This location, in Chesterfield Commons, is much more convenient. Better yet, I have a reason to go back -- after filling out the survey on the receipt, I received a coupon for free garlic cheese bread.

RE: Old Spaghetti Factory

I have been to the one in Laclede’s Landing and I enjoyed it. I have yet to make it out to Gumbo Bottoms in the Commons. I also heard they started contruction on the Joe’s Crab Shack.

RE: Old Spaghetti Factory

Is Gumbo Bottoms a chain?

I wouldn’t be surprised if they built a Joe’s Crab Shack there…. it seems like the Commons are becoming endless. I guess it should be, considering it is the longest shopping center in the U.S.

RE: Old Spaghetti Factory

Gumbo Bottom is what I have always called that area. I have also heard Chesterfield Bottoms. Just the low area that is going to be underwater when it floods next.

RE: Old Spaghetti Factory

Ah, and here I thought there must have been some new restaurant coming into town.

Re: Old Spaghetti Factory

My family & I went to the Old Spaghetti factory in Chesterfield, MO on March 25, 2006.com. I ordered Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. I was not able to finish my meal so, I took the leftovers home. Today March 27, 2006, I brought the leftovers to work for lunch. As I was eating I notice the difference in some of the peppers, so I took a closer look and realize that several of them had legs. I immediately spit the food out of my mouth and called the Spaghetti Factory. First an employee, Renee, told me that a manager would call me back. It was taking to long so, I call them back and spoke with Karlando Wilson. He said he was familiar with my situation and that he had reported it to the General Manager. He also offered to have me come in this evening to dine and he would take care of me or that I could get gift certificates for a future visit. In the mean time, he still waiting on a responds from his General Manager on how this situation should be handle.
