What's the farthest west you've been (relative to where you are from) and when did you go there? North? South? East?
West: That would be the State of Washington (farthest point: the Pacific Ocean and the Olympic National Forest). I went there once in 1997.
North: That would be Minneapolis, Minnesota, also in 1997.
South: Eureka Springs, Arkansas, some time in the early 1990's (can't recall when for sure). I've been down that way a few times since.
East: Shelbyville, Indiana, in the mid-80's. I've been that far numerous times since then.
I was suppose to make it to Florida, Puerto Rico and and several Caribbean islands in 2001, but family medical complications prevented me from making it to that trip. I'm aiming to go to Canada some day soon.

North: Filipstad, I think
East: Lettland (Or do you call it Lithuania?)
South: Germany somewhere
West: Manchester, I think
(All provided I didn’t mix up east and west as I use to, in which you’ll have to carry out the necessary adjustments accordingly
)
Eh… Don’t worry much about it Tim. Since I got out of the Navy in 1999, this is my circle:
North: Alaska (mission Trip)
South: Corpus Christi, TX
East: St. Louis, MO
West: Juneau, Alaska (only because it is slightly more west than Oregon and California)
Largely my circle is a 15 mile radius centered around my house.
Amen, Gator. My globe-trotting days are over. They were part military (now disabled) and part childhood moving with family (I don’t even have my own kids at home now). I seldom get more than 40 miles away from home these days.
Unfortunately I haven’t had the opportunity to do much travelling yet, with the exception of a few trips as a kid to visit grandparents in Ontario Canada. I’m sort of toying with the idea of perhaps a trip to Europe, Florida, or perhaps somewhere in eastern Canada.
