RE: I've Actually Seen Some of Them!

I have seen 99 of the 100 movies on my list. I’m not sure if that’s cool or sad.

Kevin: I just have to know, which one didn’t you see?

Mark: you’ve seen a lot more than me too! You missed some good ones too — the Passion, Shrek 2, The Sound of Music, Harry Potter (I haven’t read the books, but the first two movies are spectacular)…

RE: I've Actually Seen Some of Them!

Ummmmmm, how do I say this nicely so it doesn’t sound terse…..I guess I just did.

The Passion is a wonderful movie. One in which I never hope to see. I normally try to attend movies that let me escape the world I live it. Call it escapism. Every time I think of what happened to Jesus I cringe because its beyond my grasp. I’d like to keep it that way so I may never assume to understand what he did for all of us.

As for Shrek 2, didn’t like Shrek 1. My wife and I didn’t find Nemo funny either so just call us strange. Sorry ;-)

My mother forced me to see alot of musicals when younger. GUys and Dolls, Mame, West Side Story, etc, etc. I plan to hold out forever with SoM. ;-)

RE: I've Actually Seen Some of Them!

Makes sense, on the Passion.

You didn’t like Shrek!?!?!?!? I don’t know if I can take it! ;-)

I know what you mean about musicals. I’m not a big musical person myself… it’s been ages since I saw Sound of Music, but I do remember I liked at least most of it.

Ok, maybe didn’t like is a bit harsh, how about disapointed? A bunch of guys from work and, alot of our friends made it out to be this laugh a minute movie. When we saw it (at one of the ranting friends house) both my wife and I were like, um this is it? If not for Eddie Murphy’s antics, I don’t think I would have watched the whole thing. And don’t worry about us, we know we’re weird. ;-)

RE: I've Actually Seen Some of Them!

I thought “THEM” was reffering to a TV show I caught a few days ago called “Totally Hidden Extreme Magic”. They they finish a trick in front of people not expecting it the say “I’m one of THEM” and the people give them totally “you are off your rocker and I’m going to run” looks until the define their acronymn. I was excited for a moment because I thought I was going to get a real life account. :-)
