Late Night Haiku XXIV

By Timothy R. Butler | Posted at 23:24:9

LXVII. Odd night of fading past,
Yesterday, and now three years,
Trickle to a flood.

LXVIII. A new reminder,
That October into May.
Came unthought today.

LXVIX. The silence denotes
The long past sorrows of Time,
Never glancing back.

Re: Late Night Haiku XXIV

Time does not look back, but we cannot help doing it. Good thing, or we'd be hardened in our failures, never seeing the pain we've caused others.
