Anyone have any new favorite Christmas music from the past year or three? Thanks.

Re: Recommendations?

I’ve got a copy of the following CD laying around my house, and have been enjoying it:

Savior: Celebrating the Mystery of God Become Man

Re: Recommendations?

Among secular performances, I have always been a fan of anything done by Mannheim Steamroller. This year’s Christmas collection, “Winter Wonderland,” offers a load of excellent reworking of some old favorites. I’m listening to it right now.

Re: Recommendations?

I dig the Steamroller myself. I’m also digging Steven Curtis Chapman’s “All I Really Want for Christmas” (or something like that). It has some great reworking as well along with a couple new pieces. (And SCC isn’t normally one of favorite Christian artists.)

Re: Recommendations?

Dave: Thanks, I’ll take a look at that.

Ed: Yes, Mannheim is definitely one of the best. I didn’t realize they had something new out this year. I’ll check that out.

Jason: I need to look at that more closely. I have SCC’s two earlier Christmas CD’s, but not the newer one.

Thanks, y’all!
