Well, Game 4 of the World Series was delayed because of rain tonight. With more rain on the way, I wonder if the Cards will get to play tomorrow? I hope this doesn’t hurt the momentum that has allowed them to get a 2-1 lead so far…

One day won’t hurt? At least you are still home - that’s an advantage.
Our rainy season is forecast for next Thursday - and for four days, making for a rainy Guy Fawkes Day (Nov 5). I’m working on my back yard, and I’m trying to do as much “potentially muddy” stuff as I can. The stonework is dry, and mostly on gravel, so I can do it after the rainy season begins.
Then I move inside - attic work, then garage gets organized. Then fancy woodwork in my office-to-be. Somewhere in there, I get blogging, and craft a decent blog site. I get to “goof off” at work until March 1. Then I get an 18 percent raise, and work like heck all summer.
